TURKEY

Turkey

Turkey has it all: beautiful cities, a glamorous Mediterranean coastline, ancient ruins, snow capped mountains, thick forests and wide reaching plains. Orhan Pamuk, Turkey’s greatest living writer celebrates the city of his dreams: Istanbul - a city of West in its head but East in its soul; a city of collective identities where Roman aqueducts, Ottoman mosques and Byzantine churches jostle for attention. Eastern Turkey is a wild and rugged region, less well trodden and ripe for adventure and exploration. The Anatolian Plateau is a landscape dominated by lakes and volcanoes, underground cities, snow peaked mountains, castles, palaces and astonishing archaeological sites.

Life is beautiful if you are on the road to somewhere
